Spontaneous Group of Magliano Alfieri

Born in 1965, the Group devoted itself to an open research on the traditions of rural world, with great rigour, by collecting testimonies, pictures, handiworks and hundreds of popular songs, besides a particular attention related to the agricultural landscape. The most tangible results are in Magliano Alfieri: an ethnographic collection with its library, the Museum of Gessi, a new proposal of different performatory customs, but also a musical and educational entertainment, produced in Italy and abroad.
